Introducing Westermo device with IEC 61850-3 approval for substation automation, Lynx-5612, based on a new hardware and software platform that meets the needs of future data communication networks.
Lynx-5612 is intended for use in the protected area of power plants, while in conjunction with the new Westermo power supply PS-60 can also be used inside medium voltage substations.
The PS-60 acts as a filter for electromagnetic interference (surges, discharges, etc.), and can withstand a voltage drop of up to 50 ms.
It is sufficient to power up to 3 pieces of Lynx-5612 or up to 10 pieces of Lynx L110/106. Power 60 W, up to 5 seconds 120 W.
