Westermo Virtual Access router GW1042W is a compact and robust 4G/LTE router designed with a metal case. Provides 4G/LTE or 3G HSPA+ connectivity in a wide range of applications, including smart grid, SCADA, automatic re-closing, and remote asset tracking.

Technical characteristics:
  • Ethernet ports: 2 x 10/100 Mbit/s, RJ-45.
  • Wireless WAN with 3G or LTE category 4 (max. 150 Mbit/s download, 50 Mbit/s upload).
  • 2 x SIM card slots.   • 2 x SMAf port for LTE antennas.   • 2x2 MIMO support for LTE.
  • Secure communication: SSL, IPsec and DMVPN, SHA2 IKEV2 and AES-256.   • Management via SMS commands.
  • Mobile connection monitoring, automatic switching to another SIM card/network (configurable).
  • "Zero Touch deployment": commissioning without going to the field or knowledge of IP or LTE networks.
  • Central configuration of multiple devices through Activator software.
  • Isolated power supply: 9 - 36 VDC, max. 5 W.   • Operating temperature: -40 to +70 °C.
